MARK RONSON

Superstar producer Mark Ronson really needs no introduction but here goes... He started out as a DJ in New York in the 90’s before moving on to production and signing with Elektra. Mark enjoyed success supplying tracks for TV adverts including Hilfiger around this time. Ronson's first album, Here Comes the Fuzz featured artists from diverse genres, including Mos Def, Jack White, Sean Paul, Nikka Costa, Nappy Roots and  Rivers Cuomo Nate Dogg, Ghostface Killah, Trife Da God, and Saigon. Ronson has since produced multiple songs on the albums of singers Lamya, Macy Gray, Christina Aguilera, Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen, and Robbie Williams . He received a Grammy award for Best Producer following the release of the hugely successful Version in 2007 and continues to excel as the most recognisable producer on the scene, in no small part due to his profile as an artist in his own right. We are indescribably proud that he is part of our scholarship program and our students can look forward to a visit from him in the near future.
