Is the advanced Reason Course suitable for beginners?
The advanced Reason course is intended for those who are already competent in the key features and instruments within Reason. If you are new to Reason or do not have this level of experience, then we would strongly recommend taking the Beginners course first.
What hardware do I need to take the Reason course?
Mac Users
- Mac OS X v10.4 or later
- Power Mac G4 1 GHz Minimum (depending on the audio software requirements)
- 512 MB RAM
- Core Audio compatible soundcard is required
- A MIDI Controller keyboard
PC Users
- Windows Vista, XP Home or XP Professional
- Intel / AMD / Athlon Processor 1.4 GHz minimum (depending on the audio software requirements)
- 512 MB RAM
- Windows MME compatible soundcard (ASIO compatible soundcard recommended)
- A MIDI Controller keyboard
What software do I need to take the Reason course?
- PC web browser - Internet Explorer, Netscape or Firefox
- Macintosh web browser - Safari or Firefox
- Macromedia Flash Player - download here
- Apple QuickTime - For Mac - For Windows
- Uncompressing software for zip compressed files - i.e. WinZip for PC, StuffIt expander for Mac

Is the Reason course accredited?
Point Blank has been teaching music courses for over a decade. Each student who completes the Reason course will receive certification from Point Blank.
