Is the 3 x Pro Producer Course suitable for beginners?

Generally no. Pro Producer courses are aimed at experienced users of Logic or Ableton Live. However since you choose which modules to study, you can select the music classes that are most appropriate to your skill levels, experience and interests. If you are unsure which courses are most appropriate for you then please contact a course advisor who will be happy to help.

Are there entry requirements?

No. There are no academic requirements for this course. This is a practical course aimed at those who wish to develop their music production skills to a professional standard.

What software do I need to take the 3 x Pro Producer Course?

Is the 3 x Pro Producer Course approved / accredited?

There is currently no academic accreditation for this course since it is a practical program designed to equip you with creative music production skills. However Point Blank is an:

Apple Approved Training Centre for Education (AATCE). 

Authorized Native Instruments Training Centre.

Certified Ableton Training Centre.

Throughout your course you will be tutored and supported by our expert team of professional music producers. You will be able to contact them 24/7 via the student forum and raise any issues that you may encounter on your 3 x Pro Producer Course. All of the tutors are highly experienced in making music with Logic and Native instruments software and/or have in depth knowledge of the music business and will be able to offer valuable advice and guidance. You will also be able to participate in a weekly online masterclass where you can raise specific questions related to the module you are currently taking in the 3 x Pro Producer Course.
