The course was fantastic, really informative with a good balanced approach to the content meaning that the basics were covered in a way I've not considered before. I've actually got much more out of the course than I expected which is great. I particularly liked the video tutorials as a picture paints a thousand words as they say and this has been far more helpful than the tutorials in the music magazines etc. The tutor Ben was also great and his advice generally centred around working on your own skills rather than worrying about the technology your using which is the main thing I'll take from the course. I've learned so much in 4 weeks it's unbelievable! The course covers a massive amount of content but the content is 'focused' each week so you very rarely get that feeling of being out of your depth or that you can't manage to do the assignments. I found that re-visiting the videos before I sat down to do the assignment really helped. The videos were amazing - could not be better. Our Tutor Ben was brilliant. I loved the DVRs. It's better to not guess at stuff and Ben would point out that you could try things this way etc. Never before would I have thought my hats were too loud!! But now, because of Ben's feedback, I have them lower in the mix. Today I'm almost feeling that eqing is no longer a problem and I can just do it!! - I never thought I would be able to say that! Excellent Course - and the online formats really seems to work. Cheers, Sam

I found the course taught me exactly what i wanted to know if not alot more. I struggled with some parts of the course (compression) but as the month progressed i felt alot more relaxed and now feel i can take my course notes and put them into practice on my own music. My tutor was great and i really appreciated the in depth DVR feedback he gave me each week which put everything into prospective.This is my second point blank course and have enjoyed them both and learnt so much. I couldn't recommend anywhere better to do an online course!
