Tons of goodness in the new Cubase course

Tons of goodness in the new Cubase course

Postby Danny J Lewis » Thu, 18 Nov 2010, 14:41

So i'm well into the development of this new course and i've got to say it's shaping up to be one of the best yet. Despite being an 'entry level' course it's got some fantastic stuff that will appeal to a variety of levels. It's been a journey of re-discovery too as I've got myself well and truly re-acquainted with the platform. Hands down I've got to confess that Cubase is the best platform for composition - the MIDI side is truly superior to Logic and Ableton. If you struggle with the raw music making side Cubase has so much in it to help you and this is a strong angle of the course. The range of musical examples covered includes:

    Pop
    Hip Hop
    Drum and Bass
    Electro House
    Minimal
    Deep House
    Breaks
    Dubstep

and more too by the time i've finished it..

Looking forward to the launch in January.. please spread the word people..

I just bought a copy of Cubase, I must say I am impressed. I have used Logic heavily this past year or two but fancied a change. I am considering joining the course on January 102011, Ill see how I get on with it over the xmas period and finalise my entry over the new year.

What got me on to it was HalionSonic, a tool I love. 8-)
