Latency issues

Can anyone throw me some advice on this please....I'm using Logic Pro 8 with Focusrite Saffire LE interface, and have been for a few years now with zero problems in the past. I hadn't touched Logic for a couple of weeks and when I opened a project there were some very noticable latency issues, both on existing midi notes and on anything new I either tried to write in or play in from a midi keyboard, I done the software update thing but had no improvement, and had a look round Logic for anything to do with buffer size but couldn't see anything. Please help,

Most sound cards will have their own software interface where you can tweak various settings, does your Focusrite have one? Check the manual to see where you might access it.. Once you get into it you should be able to increase buffer size from there, which may well fix your latency issue - it's a pretty common problem. You should be ok with a buffer size of 256 but if not bump it up to 512 or more.
