• Lifting and editing samples from tracks for your own use

• Selecting Drum Samples to emulate famous producers

Week 2: Percussion and the Sounds 

• Using 'real' and programmed percussion
• Creating 'futuristic' percussive flavour for Deep/Tech
• Percussion Sound Design - Creating analog percussion sounds

• Classic Keys; Electric Piano and Organ - examples of their usage - Logic Instrument Solutions.

• Bass; electric/acoustic - examples of their usage - EXS24 library solutions
• Orchestral sounds - examples of their usage.

• Synth Sound Design - creating bass, lead and stab presets using the ES1/ES2

• Creating synth FX presets using the ES1/ES2 - noise sweeps/washes etc.
