Is this Cubase course suitable for beginners?

Yes. The Cubase course is intended for those who have little or no previous experience making music on Cubase. The course will teach you all of the fundamental production skills needed to produce tracks in whatever style you choose.

What software do I need to take the Cubase course?

• Cubase 5 or 6 (Where the features are identical videos are presented in Cubase 6)

Mac Users

•   Mac OS X v10.5.5 or later - Snow leopard is required for Cubase 6
•  Power Mac G5 - Intel dual core CPU for Cubase 6
•  1024 MB RAM - 2GB for Cubase 6
•  USB port
•  A MIDI Controller keyboard

PC Users

•  Cubase 5 - Windows XP (SP2) Home or Pro, Windows Vista (please check that any soundcard you are using is Vista compatible and that you have the correct drivers) Cubase 6 is only supported on Windows 7
•   Intel / AMD / Athlon Processor 2+ GHz processor - Intel or AMD dual core CPU for Cubase 6

Is the Cubase course approved / accredited?

Point Blank is an Official Training Centre for Steinberg. We have been teaching music courses on Cubase for over a decade. Students who complete the course will receive certification from Point Blank.
