The CertHE Music Production and Business (PBL) is a one year course taken online whilst making use of the state-of-the-art facilities at Point Blank's London studios. Students on this program are invited to come in and use the studios 7 days per week under the supervision of the Point Blank team and take part in the varied student life enjoyed by Point Blank Music School students. Equivalent to one year of a BA (hons) degree course, this is your chance to benefit from the practical music industry expertise and innovative teaching methods that Point Blank is known for, whilst also gaining a qualification validated by Middlesex University in the UK. This course equips you not only with the skills necessary to produce cutting edge music but also shows you how you can excel in today's music industry. Taught by our highly experienced music producers and industry figures, you'll learn key business skills and acquire industry contacts to help you launch your career in music. Students will be assessed through a range of diverse assignments. The CertHE (PBL) is worth 120 credits at level 4 and starts once a year in September. Places on this course are extremely limited so booking well in advance is advised. Please read the entry criteria below. Student loans for our degree level programs will be available for UK students for the next academic year (Sept 2013).

Entry Requirements
Normal minimum entry requirements are 1 'A' Level and Maths and English Language GCSEs at grade 'C' or above; or a BTEC National Award, Certificate or Diploma or equivalent depending on your territory and education system (for information on equivalency CLICK HERE).
Mature students (21 years or above) with lower qualifications will be considered based on APL. Applicants will be invited to a telephone interview and will need to supply a short portfolio of work (music projects based), a written statement and a short written exercise.
The most common English Language requirements for international students are IELTS 6.0 (with minimum 5.5 in all four components). See the FAQ for more details.
