Equivalent to year one of a degree course, the Cert HE in Music Production and Business gives you the chance to benefit from the practical music industry expertise and innovative teaching methods that Point Blank courses are known for, whilst achieving an internationally recognised Higher Education qualification awarded by Middlesex University in the process. This programme gives you the chance to make contemporary music in your chosen style with professional techniques, taught by Point Blank’s roster of highly experienced music producers. You’ll also learn key business skills and acquire industry contacts to help you launch your career in music, including how to promote and sell your music online. You can take this course entirely online and therefore do not need to be in the UK. There are 12 assignments to complete throughout the year, 6 practical and 6 written. The programme is worth 120 credits at Higher Education level (subject to validation, Spring 2012).
