This week we can announce a further development in our relationsip with the non-profit organisation SEO London who, together with Creative Access, would like to offer our students more amazing opportunities for paid internships at three fantastic companies.

A bit of background…
SEO London, through the Creative Access platform, is actively recruiting for 4 new internship positions in the Publishing and Music industries. The SEO-Creative Access partnership gives ethnic minority students an opportunity to access internships and graduate careers with leading firms across all of the major creative industries including Film, Advertising, Performing Arts, Publishing, Journalism, Music, TV and Radio.
The exciting opportunities include one 6-month Editorial-Assistant internship position at Harlequin (UK) Limited, two year-long Junior Creative Technician internship positions at One Media iP Ltd, a one year-long Assistant to the Heritage Curator internship position at EMI Group Archive Trust and a one-year-long A&R Administrator internship position at Best Before Records.
Best Before Records is a fast growing independent record label, with a roster of exciting artists/bands on their books including The Chapman Family, Mutiny on the Bounty, Sharks, and Johnny Foreigner.
Harlequin (UK) Ltd is the world’s most recognised publisher of romantic fiction. They publish romantic fiction under Mills & Boon, mainstream fiction under MIRA, and young adult fiction under the new MIRA Ink imprint.
One Media iP Ltd was established in 2005, and is a growing and profitable company focused on acquiring audio and visual nostalgic content and exploiting it through digital stores and services. It owns or controls in excess of 170,000 audio tracks and 5,000 hours of audio-visual content including tracks from artists spanning 7 decades from the ‘forties’ to the ‘naughties’. They focus on ‘middle of the road’, nostalgic music by well-known artists from every genre – pop, rock, Reggae, R&B, children’s music, karaoke, instrumental, soul, blues, ambient and even, rap, religious and world music plus comedy, spoken word and a large collection of classical music. They recently acquired the Men & Motors brand and all TV programs from ITV that will be made available on YouTube. The Men & Motors catalogue contains over 300 series of motoring programs presented by the likes of Richard Hammond, John Inverdale and Ginny Buckley plus ‘lads mag’ programs featuring ‘page 3’ and glamour models including Jordan, Jo Guest and Caprice.
EMI Group Archive Trust is situated within one of the world’s largest and most diverse music archives. Their collections cover many aspects of the music industry, dating from its tin-foil origins in 1877 up to 1946. In addition to material relating to their musical heritage, they also preserve artefacts associated with EMI’s achievements in television, radar, and medicine.
