It’s no secret that we at Point Blank are good friends with the whole Dirtybird Records crew, in fact we’re so tight with the guys that we decided to go on tour with them for the whole of spring, travelling across 4 countries and 8 cities. We’ve now extended this friendship to our students…
Claude Vonstroke, who studied a variety of courses with us, knows the value of getting professional constructive feedback on your tracks and has very kindly offered to provide this same service to our students! Each month we will be running through our favourite 3 to 5 student tracks to be sent over to Claude who will then be offering his analysis and feedback directly to you. The man Vonstroke wants to hear music from any genre and in any style, so make sure you get involved!
Last month we sent some of the best student tracks to Claude and he offered a whole load of in-depth feedback and how they could be improved, here’s the reactions from two of the selected students:
Following Claude’s feedback for her track ‘Citizen’, PB student Rachael Hynec had this to say; “I can’t thank you enough for the feedback. This has definitely helped me and inspired me to keep writing music. I agree with a lot of what Claude said. I have since been working hard to create my own signature sound but i must admit that it is very hard! I will not give up though!”
Ableton Production student Will Eustace was excited to hear Claude’s thoughts on his track ‘On’; “Yeah really pleased with the feedback. Totally agree with the drop, I had actually been working on a new version because I started to hate that part so much, but wanted to submit something I had finished…Really pleased that he even heard it as he’s one of my favourite Producers/DJ’s so that in itself is great!”
To take advantage of this exclusive opportunity you simply need to be a student on any Point Blank Course.
Once enrolled you can submit your tracks as a SoundCloud link for consideration to rachel@pointblanklondon.com, just make sure the subject of your message includes ‘Demo for Claude Vonstroke’.
