BBC Introducing Masterclass 2012 – Advice from Pete Tong, Wretch 32, Mistajam, Soundcloud and More…

This Thursday 19th January, the biggest names in the UK music industry, including a few good friends of ours at Point Blank, will be on hand at Abbey Road and Maida Vale to give a series of masterclasses sharing their advice and experiences with an audience of musicians taking their first steps in the business.

For a taster, have a look at what happened at last years event:

This year you’ll be able to tune into the best sessions live on the day over at www.bbc.co.uk/introducing including live online chats with some of the guests. Plus, all the sessions that are happening throughout the day will be available to watch online afterwards.

Channel 1 – 11am

Channel 3 – 12.45pm

One of the godfathers of electronic dance music and patron of Point Blank’s scholarship program, Pete Tong alongside the technical wizardry of James Zabiela.

 

 

 

Getting your music out there – How to be heard in a digital world
Channel 2 – 4.30pm

David Haynes of Soundcloud, who provided a masterclass to Point Blank students in 2011,  Mike Duce (Lower Than Atlantis) and entertainment lawyer Cliff Fluet speak to Jen Long.
