Is the Mixing Course suitable for beginners?
No. The Art of Mixing course is intended for Intermediate / Advanced users who already have considerable experience on a DAW such as Cubase, Logic or Ableton Live.
What hardware do I need to take the Mixing course?
Mac Users
- Mac OS X v10.4 or later
- Power Mac G4 1 GHz Minimum (depending on the audio software requirements)
- 512 MB RAM
- DVD drive required for installation
- Core Audio compatible audio hardware is required
- A MIDI Controller keyboard
PC Users
- Windows XP Home or XP Professional
- Intel / AMD / Athlon Processor 1.4 GHz minimum (depending on the audio software requirements)
- 512 MB RAM
- DVD drive required for installation
- Windows MME compatible audio hardware is required (ASIO compatible audio hardware required for low latency operation)
- A MIDI Controller keyboard

Is the Mixing Course accredited?
Point Blank has been teaching music courses for over a decade and each student who completes the course will receive certification from Point Blank. Point Blank is an approved training centre for Apple, Steinberg and Native Instruments.
What support do I get on the Mixing course?
